Brighton and Gillingham joined Portsmouth in the fourth round of the FA Cup, winning their delayed away ties against Plymouth Argyle and Nottingham Forest respectively.
The Seagulls, currently fifth in the Premier League South, beat South West Combination side Plymouth Argyle 4-0 in Devon to secure a visit to Coventry City at the Ricoh Arena in round four.
Gillingham, second in the Premier League, won 1-0 at Nottingham Forest to land a home tie against either Preston North End or Super League newcomers Yeovil Town. Continue reading

Three South East teams are through to the third round of the FA Cup, with two more still to play – but it was touch and go.
Premier League Gillingham and Lewes were both taken to extra-time by their South East Combination opponents, and in the all-Premier clash, Brighton squeezed past Spurs in a thriller at the Withdean.
Gillingham finally saw off Queens Park Rangers 2-1, thanks to a winner from substitute Emma Tune five minutes from the end of extra-time. Continue reading
