It was a strange experience for Brighton’s Rosie Kmita, lining up on the opposite side of the corridor from the players she has known for years, waiting to come on to the pitch for Sunday’s FA Cup tie against Spurs.

The second-round fixture was only her second appearance for the club she and twin sister Mollie joined just over a month ago.

And it reunited the 19-year-old with people she had been playing and training alongside for much of her career – and whose games she was pretty familiar with. Continue reading

Brighton’s twin wingers Mollie and Rosie Kmita are set for an early reunion with their former team-mates when the club host Spurs in the FA Women’s Cup.

The 19-year-old sisters, who joined Brighton from the London club last month, have played only one game for their new side since the double transfer, and now have the chance to dump their Premier League Southern rivals out of the cup. Continue reading
