I am a journalist with more than 30 years’ experience – and a football fan for life.
I worked in local newspapers for 15 years, then in Fleet Street and at the BBC, where I was the first regional editor of Ceefax.
After a spell on the BBC News website, I left to do freelance work, much back at the Beeb, in London and Tunbridge Wells, but also at Channel 4 News online, The Times, where I worked on the online sportsdesk, and Reuters Sport.
I live with my wife in Haywards Heath and have been a Portsmouth Football Club supporter since 1967 – and a season-ticketholder since 2002.
But as you will have guessed, I now enjoy watching local football, too.
I am also a massage therapist, based in Haywards Heath.
And in case you were wondering, I’m CRB-checked.
